How do you help a dying man when you don’t know where he is?

Ben Whittle’s father, a private investigator, has been taken captive by a cult while investigating the case of a missing girl. When Ben receives a desperate call from his father begging for help, he is drawn into a dark underground world.

The leader of the cult, Edward Ebb, is a psychopathic egocentric who uses his position to control his small group of followers in The Sons and Daughters of Salvation. When he initiates Ben into the group, it soon becomes apparent how sick and twisted Ebb is.
Can Ben overcome his insecurities to rescue his father?
And what is the gruesome secret concealed in the Revelation Room?

Oh where to start with this book. It was such a pleasant surprise. Well… pleasant may not be exactly the word, but by heck I enjoyed this. Full of a wonderful mixture of dark humour and mystery, and a very twisted adversary in Father Edward Ebb, this book really hit the spot in terms of being exactly the kind of book I love to read.

Well done Mr Tilbury for giving us a hero both gritty and moving, and a clever psychological plot that works well to the dramatic end.
5* Amazon UK review.

Mark Tilbury is now one of my favourite authors and I’ve already started Book 2 in this series, The Eyes Of The Accused. I’m pretty sure I’m going to love it!

She’s desperate to help her father. Even if it means killing again.

Fresh from the horrors of their last case, private investigators Ben and Maddie are plunged into a disturbing world of deadly secrets as they search for missing pregnant girl, Hannah Heath.

Drawn to Frank Crowley, a suspect in Hannah’s disappearance, Maddie is about to come face to face with true evil. But as she gets closer to Crowley, she will soon learn all is not what it seems. Crowley is just a small part of something much larger. Something so dreadful it defies reason.

When Maddie disappears, Ben is left in a desperate race against time to find her and uncover the truth.

But can Ben and Maddie both survive this time?

Again, the author reminded me of Stephen King, just as he did in The Revelation Room, his writing verging on the brilliant when it comes to the wicked ones!
5* from best-selling author, Shani Struthers.

The dark humour interjected into this was a thing of greatness, Mark Tilbury shows a brilliant sense of humour through his writing, it adds an extra something to his characters and really brings them alive.
5* Amazon UK review.

The Ben Whittle Investigation series is without a doubt great for readers who love a book full of mystery and suspense. With much loved characters like Jessica Fletcher and Columbo, I reckon Ben and Maddie could easily earn their places in readers hearts. A great series and can not wait to read more.

The Key to Death’s Door is a story of sacrifice, friendship, loyalty and murder.

Mark Tilbury is fast becoming an author to be reckoned with when it comes to dark and gritty thrillers, so if that’s your thing this is one book and author that needs to be on your radar and more importantly on your TBR.
5* from The Haphazardous Hippo.

The writing is exquisite, creating a whole bystander experience of being there. This is an absolute cracking story, very graphic, extremely brutal and utterly gut wrenching. If you have a problem with violence in stories it isn’t for you. This though is Mark Tilbury at his best, he is better than any sugar rush and it stays much longer!
5* from Books from Dusk Till Dawn.

Mark Tilbury certainly knows how to write a compelling story! He is easily one of my most favourite authors. I get on very well with his writing style and I know I’m in for a treat whenever he has a new book out.
I can’t wait for the next one!

The Liar’s Promise is a story of past lives and future torment.

The Liar’s Promise is twisted and very disturbing and is definitely the most disquieting book I’ve read in a long time. In case you haven’t already guessed I absolutely loved this book, and it has just secured a place on my top reads of 2017 alongside Mark Tilbury’s previous book The Abattoir Of Dreams.

Whatever you do, you need to discover this author before you die!
5* Amazon Aus review.

I am a massive fan of horror and I loved the fact that this story has that element about it with it being a supernatural thriller. But this book is more than just that. It is one very well crafted story full of twists and turns and moments that are actually rather warped. There is nothing not to like.

The Abattoir of Dreams is a bitter sweet story of murder, innocence and abuse.

This is a story that will mess with your head as well as your heart.
5* from By The Letter Book Reviews

Mark Tilbury has written a roller coaster of a crime thriller for sure, but this novel is also a rich and harrowing story of the psychology of evil and those who strive to stop it, this is certainly one read that will stay with you long after you’ve finished the book.
5* from The Book Review Café

Mark Tilbury has taken on a very dark and almost taboo subject and deftly created a story that deals with these issues sensitively and with compassion and the end result is a book that I honestly can’t recommend highly enough.

Torment is a story of misplaced loyalty, revenge and sacrifice.

Broody, dark, intense and gutwrenching. In Mark Tilbury’s writing when the demons come out to play, An angel in Heaven weeps.

He says he is innocent. So why did he lie?

Mathew Hillock was the last person to see eleven-year-old Jodie Willis alive. When her dead body turns up four days later in his garden shed, the police think he’s guilty of her murder. So do most people in the town. But there’s no DNA evidence to link him to the crime.
Battling the weight of public opinion and mental illness due to a childhood head trauma, he sinks into a deep depression.
Can Mathew do what the police failed to do and find evidence linking the real killer to the crime?
The Last One to See Her is a terrifying story of what happens when you’re accused of a crime and no one believes you are innocent.
